Check whether it is ACL--a common and an unfortunate injury. If you cannot put your weight on a foot while turning the knee, then likely this is what happened. But let's hope it is not ACL.

Looks more like a very mild case LCL sprain. We'll see.

Only a doctor can tell (even without MRI)

I know. If it doesn't get better soon, I'll give doctor a chance.

The point is -- it will get better even if it's completely torn. You can run without it (and probably without LCL, but I'm not sure), but it cannot ''heal'' by itself. I'm not saying you have to see a doctor immediately, but at some point you'll want to know if all your ligaments are intact.
Take care!

Thanks! Problem is, I can't run, it hurts. However walking uphill and on flat is not an issue. I'm sure doctor will laugh at me, since whatever I have doesn't seem to be a real injury, like those that real athletes sustain.

I'm sorry, it will be my last anonymous posting here.
Just speaking of my personal experience: the knee usually hurts because there is a bruising and fluids inside the kneecap. They will go away and should not cause a problem.
Now, a ligament can tear under silly circumstances (you don't have to be an athlete). After the swelling will subside you might feel absolutely normal again, but a ligament can be nevertheless gone.
So see a doctor anyway -- and you can wait for a swelling to disappear -- it makes a diagnosis simpler.

Take care!
